16TH STREET BAPTIST CHURCH
Encore worked with 16th Street Baptist Church to create an exhibit that tells the story of this historic Birmingham church and their association with the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. Martin Luther King's Birmingham Campaign to end racial segregation in the city. Encore also produced an immersive dual screen film on the September 15, 1963, bombing of the church that killed four little girls and was the springboard for passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Warner Museums designed, fabricated, and installed the exhibit infrastructure and theater experience.
